2. When does Aímée The Label process which personal data?
Contact
When you contact us, we may process your first and last name, company name, email address and/or telephone number.
GDPR basis: legitimate interest
Retention period: indefinite, but never longer than necessary
Order clothing online/offline
When you order clothing, we may process your company name, first and last name, and address details to ship the clothing.
GDPR basis: performance of the agreement
Retention period: as long as necessary to process the order, including any returns, complaints or claims relating to the purchase of the product in question
Invoicing / Financial administration
For the invoicing of orders and for our financial administration, we (may) process your company name, first and last name, address details, customer number, invoice number, bank details, email address and telephone number.
GDPR basis: legal obligation
Retention period: maximum 7 years due to the legal obligation to retain financial administration
Survey / customer satisfaction research
We may ask you, as a customer, if you'd like to participate in a survey or customer satisfaction survey. For this purpose, we collect your age group, whether or not you have children, your income level, and whether or not you are employed. You don't need to provide your name or email address; this is optional.
GDPR basis: consent
Retention period: indefinitely, but in any case not longer than necessary and until the results of the survey or research in the broad sense have been processed.
Sending a promotional gift
Because we value you as a customer or business associate, we'd like to send you a promotional gift. For this purpose, we process your first and last name, company name, and address information.
Basis: legitimate interest
Retention period: indefinite, but not longer than necessary
Newsletter / Email marketing
We'd like to send you a newsletter or other informative/commercial emails. You can subscribe to these on our website. You can unsubscribe at any time. We collect your first name and email address for this purpose.
GDPR basis: consent
Retention period: as long as you are registered
Tagging on social media
Sometimes we may tag you on social media, for example, to promote your business. We obtain your social media handle because we looked it up, or because we were already following you or each other. For tagging, we use your account name from the relevant social media platform.
If we tag you and you don't like it, please let us know immediately so we can remove the tag and not tag you again in the future.

Retention period: as long as the social media message is online
Job applications
When you apply for a job with us, we may process your name, (the personal data within) your CV, and contact details.
Basis of the GDPR: performance of the agreement
Retention period: If you do not enter into employment, we will retain your data for a maximum of four weeks. If you do enter employment, we will retain your personal data for a maximum of one year after you leave.
Customer overview
We maintain a customer overview of business clients for our own records. For this purpose, we only process your first and last name, company name, and address.

Retention period: indefinite, but not longer than necessary
Legitimate interest
For some purposes, Aímée The Label processes personal data based on the "legitimate interest" principle. The importance of processing your personal data is balanced against your interests (the right to privacy). Therefore, Aímée The Label does not process more data than is necessary to achieve the purpose and does not process it for longer than necessary.

Your information will not be shared with third parties unless necessary for business operations or legally required. The third parties to whom we may have shared your information are:

4. Transfer to third countries
Aímée The Label strives to process personal data within the European Economic Area (EEA) as much as possible. However, Aímée The Label may still use services from outside the EEA. Aímée The Label only does this if an adequate level of protection is in place for the processing of personal data.
5. Security of your personal data
Aímée The Label has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. These measures include:
- do not log on to unsecured networks;
- changing passwords regularly;
- the conclusion of processing agreements.
6. Automated decision-making
Automated decision-making occurs when decisions are made automatically based on processed personal data, without human intervention. Aímée The Label does not use automated decision-making.
7. Your rights
If your personal data is processed, you have a certain degree of control over it. Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights:
Right to access, rectification and erasure
You have the right to know what personal data Aímée The Label processes about you. If certain data is incorrect, you can request that we rectify it. We can also erase data at your request.
Right to restriction of processing
This is the right to (temporarily) stop processing your data. For example, the data we hold about you may be incorrect. In that case, we may no longer use this data until we have the correct information. We must also (temporarily) stop processing your data if the processing is unlawful, we no longer need the data, or you have objected to the processing of your data.
Right to object
If we process your data based on the "legitimate interest" basis and you disagree, you can object. If you object, we will no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims. If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, we will no longer process this personal data.
Right to data portability
You have the right to obtain your personal data from us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit it to another controller where you have given Aímée The Label consent to process your personal data and/or where the processing is carried out by automated means.
Right to withdraw your consent
If we have obtained your consent to process your personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data before you withdrew your consent.
Right to lodge a complaint
Do you have a complaint about how Aímée The Label handles your personal data? You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

8. Changes

The latest version will always be published online. If the changes apply to you, we will inform you. If you continue to use Aímée The Label's services after the changes, you agree to these changes.
